MAY 13, 2025 MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR

My Rotarian Friends & Colleagues,

We are at the point once again, where I must put my thoughts and wits to paper, explaining to all you, the goings on in our District of 7630.

Yes, the Annual Celebration of the 53rd Annual District Conference is now all history, and I continue to hope that those who attended gain something of value from the day and half of the activities that so many worked tirelessly on putting together. From the outstanding outside facilitators to the entire staff there at the Sands Hotel. Now we must move forward to bigger and greater things that is occurring in our District. Again, thank all of you for your cooperation, patience and continued help as your District Governor.

Many of you may or may not be familiar with the Rules of Procedures that help govern the Rotary Organization.

I would like to emphasize and stress to each new and previous club president and members of each club in our District to become familiar with the Rules Of Procedures. I believe everyone that reads the Rules Of Procedures will be somewhat enlightened by its contents.

Although there are other tools utilized as well, as the governing bodies of our individual clubs, the Rules Of Procedure is the King Pin.

These Rules Of Procedures (ROP’S) rules are the governing body of our clubs. I especially wish to add that special attention be given to Article 3, Section K, Paragraph 6 B. The Purpose Of Rules Of Procedures (ROP’S ) in Rotary are self-explained.
